ok, so seriously...... Macie CRACKED me up yesterday! Her mind is SO young and innocent! i think that some of the things she says is sooo hilarious... get a kick out of this one....

as we were walking out to my truck after picking up a few things at Target, i was in a hurry because madelyn was in the middle of a nuclear meltdown and... heaven forbid the little lady ACTUALLY take a nap......

"macie, hurry up hunny, were in the middle of the parking lot... Pick up the pace"
"........walking slow........."
"MACIE, come ON, get a move on! hold my hand and lets hurry up"
"im going as FAST as i can mom! GOOOOOOOOSH!" (said with more spite and attitude than.... ME)
"excuse me? you don't talk to me like that. you better watch your mouth or your going to be grounded."
"UGH! im ALWAYS in trouble!"
"you are not ALWAYS in trouble!"
(at this point i have blocked out madelyn, and now, im just getting frustrated with ARGUING with her!)
...she is pausing in her back talk......Im kinda waiting......

"God controls me mom!! He controls everyone! so if God controls me, how can I be in trouble???!!!"
(she said VERY frustrated, and confused, and just MAD at getting in trouble)
i stopped, laughed at the situation, and looked at her... "hunny, i know God is in control of your life, but YOU still CHOOSE how you talk to mommy, and when you talk disrespectfull, your going to get in trouble. Its ok, lets just get in the truck...=) " and i hugged her of course!

and after that, i layed off her, because apparently her big mind is working overtime to understand life! it sounds precious to me! and since that conversation, I try and GENTLY remind her when she CHOOSES to snap at me or get an Attitude with me, that it is HER choice..... lol

Well.. Its been a while!

Hey everyone! it has been a TAD long since i posted something! OOOOPS!

we are all happy and healthy! John is getting ready to leave for 3 weeks again... BUMMER... (school for his job)

Macie is my little 2nd grader-to-be! and BOY oh BOY does she have the attitude of a 15 year old! but seriously- one of the things i love best about summer is getting her BACK on track with her attitude and her manners, etc.... She is currently LOVVVVV-ING Vacation bible school. WHOO HOOO, i swear i never thought she would get to go, the church we go to has slowly stopped offering it, and the age limit kept getting higher and higher, so she was always a year too young... well, this year i went ahead and put her in with her cousins (elisabeths girlies) up in kingsburg. she is SOOO happy she gets to go!

Madelyn is having fun this summer playing in the pool, chillin' with the "do-do" (dog-daisy), and eating cheese. I am not a super huge fan of "kool-aid" but macie has discovered the value of money, and is OBSESSED with saving it. so the fact that you can get a whopping 5 packs for like, 4 quarters is like MIND BLOWING to her! hee hee hee so both girls are having fun with thier summer treats. we moms do what we can to keep our munchkins happy! She has decided at a little over 20 months old now, that naps do not interest her! HA! so mommy is flippin' tired, and our schedule is in the midst of a major adjustment!

I am healthy and preggo. don't reall feel preggo yet. the baby moves all the time, i feel like it is the calm before the storm! when i was preggo with maddie, i was already contracting painfully several times a day (it strarted on fathers day) but this one is different. i feel perfect! lol.... it is SOOOOO too good to be true! lol baby names... none yet... lol

sooooooo if you are wondering why we dropped off the face of the earth........ it is because we have been buuuussssyyyyyyyyyyyy PACKING!!!!!!!!!

We signed papers on our first home saturday! we have been very bogged down, making sure everything was what WE wanted, and didn't let anyone pressure us into anything. After aloooot of prayer we are sooooo verrrrrry happy with our decisions!! we actually had a whole different house picked out, but it just didn't "feel" right. so we backed out and did some more research/shopping!

Once we felt totally confirmed from our prayers, (that was the main area john and i didn't "feel" ok), we went ahead and started the planning!! so, our house will be finished being built by 1-21-09!! its 2140 sq ft, 4 bd 2 bath,

hey everyone! just wanted to pop on and say hello- every one is doing FABULOUS. just been busy and getting ready for holiday! me and john went and talked to "santa" on saturday... so macie's gifts are all "wrapped up"! hee hee

we all have measles!

hey everyone-we have ALL been sooo soooo sick. first- Madelyn came down with this "phantom" fever. She did this once before, and that is what the dr called it- no other symptoms but a fever.that started last thursday... then on Sunday, she started (sorry about the details) throwing up, and i mean- projectile vomiting..pooor poor baby- she kept running fever untill tuesday, and her spots are still there- but starting to clear up... sorta...then Monday I was perfectly fine untill about noon, then BAM i came down with this weird body ache, and horrible headache. then that turned into running a fever, "flu like symptoms" i could keep anything down,and the worst part of ALL was the headache turned into a terrible terrible, want-to-blow-your-head-off migrane, i couldn't open my eyes, or talk loud, i was sooo sooo sick & miserable.i mean ibe had the "24 hour flu bug" but i thought i had the FULL darn BUG! Untill yesterday when MY measles showed up!! ... I KNOW!!!!! measles at 28. jokeingly- i told john... "well hunny- this is ONE way to lose weight when you can't waork out!" lol- i was kidding-so- last, but MOST important- Miss Macie was out ALL week from schol- she ran a fever ALLLLLL week, and her spots showed up yesterday too! my poor girl! the school was very happy to get her work together and they were very awsome about it!my lovely husband has had a REAL taste of "mom duties"... well.. sorta... MY mom came over every day and made sure he didn't have to worry about anything to complicated... my poor mom was here every day! BLESS her bones! its been a while since she chased around 2 little ones ALL DAY! lolBut, John has been awsome i am sooo lucky he is able to function with out me! lol so, needless to say- ive been very yucky- and just trying to get "NORMAL". My girls are both doing good- everyone is FEVER free, and i finally started taking some medicine for the migraine. but we are all prisoners, macie is very bored-maddie is kinda cranky today- and I am looking around here and thinking of all the projects piling UP! so- email me if you want- hope you are all well- lets all HOPE john does NOT get this! lol... poor guy!
