Birthday Party
OH my gosh- we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired. (and i didn't even do a alot of the work!) I have the BEST friends and family EVER! everyone helped days before, as well as went to pick up the food and cake, cleaned up, put food away, etc... we are SO BLESSED. I have to say though, this is probly the first Party/birthday event we have put on that john has helped with the most! i don't think the poor guy realized how much was involved. =)
The night before the party, i REALLY thought i was going into labor. the pain was pretty intense, and i decided if it lasted another 45 minutes, i was going to call the dr and go in to hospital. At this point, the most important thing is to MAKE SURE I DON"T DIALATE. and that is what contractions do, Help you dialate. So i can go into "pre-term labor" ALL day long, and it will be FINE, but ONCE i get TOO dialated they have to deliver me, to prevent infection to the baby. so lets ALL PRAY that i am healthy, and that dialating doesn't occur untill the baby is healthy enough to be here for good!
sooo, the birthday party was SO MUCH FUN! i MUST say, macie and madelyn are BOTH at an age where they are just AWSOME to be around! And the most hilarious things pop out of thier mouth!! lol i think the highlight of the day was watching macie open her gifts. Keep in mind she had a whole audience of KIDS "egging" her on. But every time she opened a card and it had money, she would LITTERALLY FLIP OUT! it got to be SOO funny, that i was having a hard time taking pictures! Madelyn was Super cute when she opened one of the gifts my parents got her, and she had this "OH WOW" face, and it was ALL ABOUT SHOWING PAPA!!! she hopped up, waddled over to where he was, and it was.."papa, look!"..."papa, see!" it was like- "melt your heart cute"!
THEN, Madelyn was up on one of our friends' laps, she happens to be a police officer, and they were doing this "stare down" ...(madelyn gets this "look" and will Stare people down, and it is HILARIOUS! Last time they did this Our friend WON! at the time, i asked her if she interrogated people, etc.. she said, yes, and that madelyn was more hard core than most "bad guys" HEE HEE HEE) well, this time, madelyn was sooo tired from NO NAP (although she was SOOO good, it was like God just prepared her little body for the party to give us all a break)and she was starrring so hard, that she was eventually leaning to one side, almost asleep, but SO NOT ABOUT TO GIVE UP! and poor Coreena, she LOST, she HAD to blink!!!! It was SO FUNNY, and everyone was watching AND LAUGHING AND IT still DIDN'T TAKE MADDIES ATTENTION AWAY! my grandma got a picture, but i didn't- im so bummed!
honestly we had such a great time! The kids had a bounce house- Gods greatest invention for child entertainment! we got LOTS of yummy food, a delicious cake! and ALL of my family and johns family came, as well as a few good friends!

New Homes....
Are a pain in the neck!
you know, while we were house hunting about a year ago, several people told us to get a house a couple years old, so all the "kinks" were worked out already..... i STILL think we choose the right thing by buying NEW. BUT........ i am sooooooooooooooooo tired of all this stuff we have to go through! It seems like every couple weeks there is a painter, a tile guy, a dry wall guy, a stucco guy, etc..etc.... and i can RARELY plan anything around these people! Although, i learned early on, to NOT let them plan MY day. so any whoooooo.... we are having to get all new carpet and all new padding through out our entire house. the padding is deffective, so when you walk on it, it feels like you are walking on rocks, like the size of a quarter. And the carpet is discolored in 3 more spots. (we found the same thing with our very first walk through. ) so, WHAT does this mean for ME and john????
oh easy- they have to empty our entire house, lay the carpet, and put everything back in our house in ONE day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like seriously, moving in and out in ONE day!..... 33 weeks prego, John working an hour away, macie in school, and madelyn being a busy body!.
like seriously??? really??
they are wanting to do this all next week. Well, that is all fine and dandy, the sooner the better, BUT, Macie and Madelyns Birthday party is going to be on the 6th, SOOOOOOOOO i will be stretched thin!
OH, and i forgot to mention, work starts on our back yard to finish the landscaping and irrigation of the flower beds, front and back monday..... why not add one more thing to the pot!
OH- and i have a dr. appt. next friday too..... LOLOLOLOLOL.....
i swear if someone in our house gets sick anytime soon, i am packing us all up and we are moving to Tahiti.

Our sunday...
ok, so we have been TRYING to get to church on a regular basis, but with Madelyn, it has been impossible. LOL
i try and make sure Macie gets to church when she can, either with me, or my mom. I mean, i love going too, but reality is, i have madelyn, and she does NOT like to stay in the nursery- EVEN though it is filled to the brim with toys.. LOL
so sunday, me and john dropped her in the nursery, hung out for a minute, and off we went.. they were ammusing her.. so we were ok to tell her we would be right back...
well....
about 15 minutes later, John went and checked in the window, she was crying.
So, I decided to go give my "mom opinion" on the situation, she flipped even more when she saw me, so i got her, and went to get john.
OF course, once we got her, she wanted the toys... UGH!
so, we went backkkkk to the nursery... john and i both went in there played with her, john stayed and blew bubbles with the wand for ALL the kids. And then, we both were able to get ou again. and we sat in the hallway to the sanctuary, and it took a whole 5 minutes, and they were comeing after us again! lololol.. we just decided to let macie stay and get her FULL lesson- so we took her out to the playground, and the 3 of us actually had a really good time. lol.... but it is like this every time! Although Sunday, i decided, she has GOT to get used to this- so even if we miss out on everything, Macie will get her lesson, and madelyn will eventually get used to just playing for a while!
And here come #3 shortly! haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

"God controls me mom!!"
ok, so seriously...... Macie CRACKED me up yesterday! Her mind is SO young and innocent! i think that some of the things she says is sooo hilarious... get a kick out of this one....
as we were walking out to my truck after picking up a few things at Target, i was in a hurry because madelyn was in the middle of a nuclear meltdown and... heaven forbid the little lady ACTUALLY take a nap......
"macie, hurry up hunny, were in the middle of the parking lot... Pick up the pace"
"........walking slow........."
"MACIE, come ON, get a move on! hold my hand and lets hurry up"
"im going as FAST as i can mom! GOOOOOOOOSH!" (said with more spite and attitude than.... ME)
"excuse me? you don't talk to me like that. you better watch your mouth or your going to be grounded."
"UGH! im ALWAYS in trouble!"
"you are not ALWAYS in trouble!"
(at this point i have blocked out madelyn, and now, im just getting frustrated with ARGUING with her!)
...she is pausing in her back talk......Im kinda waiting......
"God controls me mom!! He controls everyone! so if God controls me, how can I be in trouble???!!!"
(she said VERY frustrated, and confused, and just MAD at getting in trouble)
i stopped, laughed at the situation, and looked at her... "hunny, i know God is in control of your life, but YOU still CHOOSE how you talk to mommy, and when you talk disrespectfull, your going to get in trouble. Its ok, lets just get in the truck...=) " and i hugged her of course!
and after that, i layed off her, because apparently her big mind is working overtime to understand life! it sounds precious to me! and since that conversation, I try and GENTLY remind her when she CHOOSES to snap at me or get an Attitude with me, that it is HER choice..... lol

Well.. Its been a while!
Hey everyone! it has been a TAD long since i posted something! OOOOPS!
we are all happy and healthy! John is getting ready to leave for 3 weeks again... BUMMER... (school for his job)
Macie is my little 2nd grader-to-be! and BOY oh BOY does she have the attitude of a 15 year old! but seriously- one of the things i love best about summer is getting her BACK on track with her attitude and her manners, etc.... She is currently LOVVVVV-ING Vacation bible school. WHOO HOOO, i swear i never thought she would get to go, the church we go to has slowly stopped offering it, and the age limit kept getting higher and higher, so she was always a year too young... well, this year i went ahead and put her in with her cousins (elisabeths girlies) up in kingsburg. she is SOOO happy she gets to go!
Madelyn is having fun this summer playing in the pool, chillin' with the "do-do" (dog-daisy), and eating cheese. I am not a super huge fan of "kool-aid" but macie has discovered the value of money, and is OBSESSED with saving it. so the fact that you can get a whopping 5 packs for like, 4 quarters is like MIND BLOWING to her! hee hee hee so both girls are having fun with thier summer treats. we moms do what we can to keep our munchkins happy! She has decided at a little over 20 months old now, that naps do not interest her! HA! so mommy is flippin' tired, and our schedule is in the midst of a major adjustment!
I am healthy and preggo. don't reall feel preggo yet. the baby moves all the time, i feel like it is the calm before the storm! when i was preggo with maddie, i was already contracting painfully several times a day (it strarted on fathers day) but this one is different. i feel perfect! lol.... it is SOOOOO too good to be true! lol baby names... none yet... lol
