Fair Day! or was it?

ok, so every year the tulare county fair happens. and every year i beg, plead, bribe, make deals, etc... i don't like going, the kids are all different ages, so that means 2 trips.. 2 times of sitters, etc.... UGH!
ok, so this year I got really smart and bribed with the number one "bribe".. the BEACH! yes, wednesday, while all of tulare was at the fair, we went to morro bay and the stopped at the cheese shop on our way, of course!, and had a blast. madelyn was just finishing her little tummy bug, so that was event full..haha... we went to the park like litterally a chunk of dunes away from the waters edge, had a blast! i took my friend lindsay and her 2 kiddo's. it was a packed van! and we had a blast!

Storyland & Playland

on Labor Day, we went some great friends of ours, Ben and Lindsay, and thier 2 kids Marshal & Caroline, to fresno for a whole day of FUN! HEAT! and The Old Spaghetti Factory! kids had a blast!!! and us parentals did too! here are some fun pictures! we had lunch by the lake, and madelyn REALLY enjoyed the nursery rhyme statues, and saw humpty dumptynand freaked out! haha! it was a great day, and a long day! we were gone from 9am, and pulled in the drive around 8:30pm! it was awesome!

Taco Night!

So, ive started this new thing recently with my grandpa, we have him over 1 night a week for dinner. and usually it is taco's (Turkey Taco's), but sometimes i "experiment" haha.. but he always likes it!

Correena is almost always here for dinner. and we love that too.!! She has enjoyed hearing all my grandpa's funny stories, and just hanging with the FAM!

this week he brought his brother, Uncle Ernie..=) and we had fun! lots of Joke telling! haha!

Malorie kept saying.. "i have 2 papas!" and she was calling him "Papa Ernie" but it sounded like "papa Henry" lol

First day of school!

Macie is in 5th grade now!
Madelyn started her first day of Kindergarten! they both had a wonderfull day! and im happy to report Madelyn is doing much better!
she had a hard couple of first days...=)
she learned that she doesn't have to go to school on "S" days.. CUTE!
so she asks every morning..". is in an S day yet??????"

Macie is in a 5th/6th combo. It was a little hard on MOMMY, that she was going to be around 6th grade boys.... i mean.. come on..... we all remember being young..... and i was worried about how she would do.
 but so far, so good. she actually has began "hanging" with some 6th graders. that are GOOD NON-DRAMA ones.. =) she has a hard time with the drama of kids.. she ignores it luckily. She is SUPER flipping smart. like does crazy math and random facts SUPER quick.
 and when i picked them up the first day of school the FIRST words out of mouth when she opened the door to the van were..." MOM! i didn't learn anything!" lolol... i was like...."umm.. give it a day or so.... they just wanted to meet you today...!" HA!


MADELYN..... oh boy...... so, the 4th day of school i picked her up her teacher "Mrs. Kirk", told me she and another little boy are like best friends and are litterally inseperable! i know the little boys mom, and she happens to be a teacher out there. (madelyn had her as a teacher for summer school) and ive been told he is "SO SO LOVING!" and so is madelyn. meaning very friendly, nice, caring, oooing gooing babytalk...CUTE! so for her to be friends with a boy that does it too, i can just imagine. now,  our madelyn is obviously the middle child. she says the FUNNIEST things ever! and seriously just so enjoyable to be around! i try and video tape these funny moments, but its always NEVER as funny when i have her do these things again! lol... so anyway, im curious to see how she does in school, she is smart too. but doesn't "enjoy" homework. so we  shall see what the rest of this brings.
