Just hanging!

I hope you enjoyed the precious music in the back ground!
I thought as v-day is nearing, and i have these aw some pictures you have never seen of different things, i would share them, while telling you WHY i picked the songs...
these were some of my fave songs when i think of my girls. keep reading....

Kala is the first one. a Song by Kutless. "what faith CAN do". She is going through so many changes from little girl- to teenager- to now little lady. She is so unsure of so many things in her life, but on the flip side, her faith in Jesus is SO strong, that her battles are ALWAYS won with amazing decision making!! I mean she makes these amazing leaps of faith, and just TRUSTS that God is going to be there. And really, that is ALL she needs.
faith.
"perfect Love casts out ALL fear"
you know how, you wish you could have a song play in someones mind like, ALL DAY to constantly nag them about something? well, this is the song i would pick for her!
I'm so proud of the woman she is turning into. She is so much wiser than her age!

Miss Macie is the next song. Jonas Bro's "Lovebug"
Little miss Macie is changing A LOT right now. she is testing her character in every way possible! and looking for the limit of everything! i am so proud of her! she is so loving and cares so much it almost hurts her! she is so smart that she gets frustrated- looking for a more difficult answer. she is so much like her daddy it is adorable! She just needs to remember..with God, all things are possible. and to "not worry about anything, but pray about EVERYTHING"
This song i chose for her because it is a TAD old fashioned. and classical. Macie is very much her OWN person. And at the same time so sweet and Lov-bug-ish!
"love never fails"
my husband! Throughout my house i have this scripture scattered everywhere, and when this song came out- it sorta summed up everything. John is such a loving-amazing-strong-Honorable-honest-true-playful-silly-stable-respectful-provider-traditional.. man. I'm so thankful God had us Collide into each others lives. Once he and i embraced Gods plan. And accepted that God had a perfect plan for our marriage, maybey not perfect for anyone else, but perfect for US. well, instead of fight it and fight each other mentally, battling, and instead of staying stubborn, we have fallen in love with each other so much it hurts me sometimes. To think God loves me THIS much to have sent me such a man.
I'm still hard headed. So is John, BUT, we even each other out so equally.
i respect him. i love him.
and i am blessed beyond words.

switchfoot-"always"
then our maddie... she is 2! and getting into so much trouble! Madelyn is my little free spirit. she reminds me of myself so much! i just can't wait to teach her more things sooner rather than later! i think i will be giving her 5th, and 6th chances ALL through life........ This song reminds me of what is to come i guess...hee hee.

"lullaby"
malorie is so innocent right now! like an angel sent down to purely bless us 100% of the day... =)

then there is me. i really am in love with jj heller right now!her words just seem to always fit perfect for my life at the moment! I am so lucky to have a loving supportive mom, and a loving supportive mother in law. All of the women i am surounded with have made me who i am now! And i have the best friends in the world! i hope you stay long enough to hear all the songs... love you all!

thanks for watching!

Daily Fashion Show!

OK..... My kids look SOOO dang cute lately! I mean, they are always precious but lately....well.....

Every day is like watching a fashion show with Malorie and Madelyn!
why??????? you might ask.... is it such a big deal? well, my amazing cousin April has been sending me stuff her daughter is Done with, and some of it fits madelyn NOW, and Malorie NOW, and the rest will fit Malorie LATER! she is SOOO super sweet for doing that! I am a HUGE shopper for my girly's, I LOVE to buy clothes for them! I am super LUCKY i have the outlet mall and the fresno malls!! But even though she is a WHOLE country away, (South Carolina) she has her OWN "jack-pot" stores she visits and ALWAYS gets the most ADORABLE things!
Of course, Macie is ALSO excited because she LOVES/ADORES Lunden. Lunden is Aprils older daughter, she is 15.... so you can all do the guess work here... Macie is 7-going-on-15.. and as soon as she heard Lunden likes Hollister and abercrombie & fitch, and that Aprils next box will have a shirt or 2 in there for HER too, She was THRILLED, and she BEGGED me to go online and look up HER SIZE at those websites! And today i used up some of my GYMBUCKS at Gymboree for her! Macie will get to join in on the fashionable catwalk around here too!!
LOLOLOL..
i LOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOVE having GIRLS!
OH and of COURSE ive been making MATCHING bows DAILY! lololol

Malorie getting SPIFFY!

Awwww...... getting a bubble bath!

I am lucky all my girls LOVE taking baths! i hear those crazy stories about the babies who cry through it etc.. and i feel so BLESSED that mine always had fun!

Macie singing!

She and her friend Elisabeth sang away in a manger!

Ohh La La!

Madelyn is SUCH a little "Girly Girl!"
She totally LOVES make-up, lip gloss, chap stick, nailpolish, and bows.... etc.. etc...
She is ALWAYS wanting my paint her nails, she will use food to "pretend paint" while she is in her high chair!!! (like a chicken nugget with bbq sauce... and she "Paints" the sauce on her nails!
Anytime Macie has any chapstick she has to hide it from her! Or she will throw a FIT! lol
and she is constantly telling me to add bows, hairbows, clips, flowes.. etc.! She will bring me a random bow and ask me to put it in her hair!!!

so here are a few shots of her playing with grandma's lipgloss!
And of course the picture of her MAD because we took it away!

Malorie is 3 Months Old!

Awww... our sweet newborn is now a Big 3 month old! She is been so darn GOOD!

Like seriously! she only fusses when she is hungry. She falls asleep anywhere! She drools like crazy now! Cute right?! she chews on her chubby fists alot! and she is just a very happy easy going baby!

well, these are some shots i got of her.

We Love you Malorie!

Hello V-Day!

I know i sound insane when i say... "I couldn't WAIT to decorate for V-day!" I mean we JUST had Christmas stuff ALL-OVER!
BUT....
I have a cousin who is SOOO great at motivating me to be the best mommy and wife ever! and usually she doesn't even realize she is doing it! I am just at a point in my life now where i am remembering that my FAMILY & HOME come first. and that it is MY domain! i know it sounds a little silly, and a tad wierd. but seriously, my husband is out working ALL day, and Macie is at school ALL day, when they come home they need a home they WANT to come to. they need a SAFE-HAVEN filled and built with love and caring... NOT dreading the noise and the routine. A VERY good friend of mine reminded me of the beging part of some very basic things that i had forgotten all about when our kids started school together... I was complaining about this and that, and she "busted out the basics" that i had NOT been doing.
I have had a whole lot of "self improving" going on with me lately. And my cousins re-assurance and guidence was needed. the thing is our HEAVENLY FATHER is the CENTER of thier life as well, so i know any advice i get is always with a decision BASED of good values! and it was needed! my priorities get a tad obsesive sometimes... like for example... i obsess over a clean floor and table, but im a harsh crazy person to get it this way. Lately Ive been feeling the guilt over the "busy mom syndrome"... its like an image i have in my head of a mom with crazy hair, stained clothes, dishrag in one hand, broom in another, cup of COLD coffee on counter, kids are clean and happy, there are freshly baked muffins or pastry of some sort on the counter, but no one wants to be around her! And she yells.."don't you all REALIZE i do this BECAUSE i love you SO MUCH?!?" ...

umm.. hello crazy lady..... no, they can't tell... cause your a bit insane.... LOL
thats me!
Anyway, ONE thing i am doing is making sure things are DIFFERENT from time to time. and it might be wierd, but i think if things are changed up here & there, it makes it fun for kids and fun for us too! ive been really trying to bake and cook more "home cooked" meals, like if it takes a couple hours to make OH WELL- i have to stop being intimidated by "time stealers". (if it benefits my family, saves money, and makes everyone happy and NOT stressed.. um DUH)
So if we REALLY think about it, every month has some sort of holiday or seasonal change! so i am trying out a new look on things and trying to be more FESTIVE. it might be something SMALL and trinket sized, but it will keep my kids saying.. OH- how cute MOM!- I think a part of me LIVES for pleasing my family. and i had to STOP and realize i need to do it with a heart for God. and in a way that Glorifies God. not be GRUDGINGLY (is that a word?) doing these tasks. but embracing a new attitude WHILE doing them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when Macie wakes up in the morning and gets all Giggly over my decorations i set out that night! I hope that making these special TWEEKS to our "mundane" day-to-day life will help her, and everyone else, have a fun way of looking at nurturing your family.! (see, my cousin has ALWAYS done this, i am JUST NOW figuring life out!)
John was even a bit bummed when christmas decor came down. He said.. "our house felt so "HOME-E", " I am hopeing this was what the dr. ordered for him as well! i mean, he goes to work everyday to PAY for this house, I want him to be HAPPY when he drags in the door!
So for starters.. Valentines day!
first & foremost:
I called my cousin to pick her brain!
Then i set off to Wal-mart, Target and JoAnns craft store.... I made my own wreath, i hung decorations, and spurts of "love" through out!
EVERYONE was happy i did this, john was impressed with my wreath and said......
"yes hunny, our house NOW looks "festive".... I think thats the first time ive ever said "FESTIVE"...." and we both started laughing!
I love it that he goes along with all my crazy ideas'! he lets me get them out of my system, and some work, and others don't, but you NEVER know what parts your kids remember! i want mine to have LOTS to choose from!
Here are some pictures!

At Jo anns, i picked up some .50 cent scraps of fabric and turned them into placemats!

You can see the girls playing in the back yard all bundled up!

At the end of the bar you can see Macie's New "fish bowl"... we love our .28 cent gold fish!

the CUTEST canvas w/ holder i saw at Target!!!

Like i said, it isn't ALOT, but it adds a touch of the holiday!

My wreath! awwww.....

my door way outside.....

my door inside!
Well, thats all this momma's got to talk about right now! Hope you all leave a comment!
love you!
