sad loss in our family

A family friend died monday. Josh Riggs was as close as another brother to myself and my own brother. Josh was in a mountain climbing accident, in flagstaff, az, while hiking from utah trying to get here for christmas. this is the closest ive come to losing a sibling. josh was my age, ive known him since 1st grade, and he lived with us on and off. to be blunt this sucks and trying to be happy mom is super hard. i have been saying all year i wish this year could just start over. i still wish it. i know alot you have been praying for our family and i thank you so much!

on another note we had a great thanksgiving here at home and i hsve months of pictures to add!! i have not been on facebook since september and kinda disapeared off of the internet.
kids are good. ready for christmas program at
church it should be fun! im singing a couple songs and we are excited for it to get here.
my sunday mornings are a tad diff. now. i am singing on the worship team and sooo in love with it. i kinda stopped singing for many many reasons about 11 years ago. and after slot of internal battling with myself and prayer, i decided to ser if the team needed another person. and i have been up there 2 weeks now.

so the funeral is monday at my parents, long weekend ahead.

busy busy!

got through birthday parties, decorated took decorations down,  decorated for halloween, costumes, parties, plans, etc... took all that down... decorated for thanksgiving,  church functions, piano lessons, i took on a 2 week meal plan with 14 different recipes.. (cause apparently im a sucker for self-punishment) that has been going great!.... etc. etc...

ive been......selling some highheels on ebay, buying more to replace those....giggling like a little girl when i get them in the mail.. running around my house in pajamas and high heels, cause i swear some of the ones i recently got are like wearing butter on my feet.. mmmmm.... im officially obsessed.

.....re-furbishing (sanding/primer/paint/hinges/knobs...the works) an old china hutch... whew!

......the said china hutch will be to... drum roll please.... hold my highheels..hee hee... im crazy i know.. but i can, so i am....

Pumpkin Patch with Malorie! aww..!

ok, so there is a group of us moms with little ones, and ONE grandma, that has a bible study every sunday, and we try and get together about once a week. we usually eat, and talk, and eat... lol.. then talk about new foods we like...! i don't know why everything we do is centered around food, but it is. every time there a new person, we welcome them.. with guess..?.. food! lol.... so our little group is ...

Lindsay- (pastors wife, mom of caroline (3) and marshall (1).
She is a texas girl all the way!!
she won't leave home without.......* a pen, she writes notes, all over whatever she can use, skin included... 24/7 ...watch out or she will write on you!*....=))

Christy- (Deacon/awana commander wife, mom of c.j (3) & emmalee (9).
She is a wild one! loves shocking people with randomness & catching BUGS while cooing to them!
She won't leave home without.....*her phone! gotta play slott-o-mania! *

Robin- (Deacons wife, grandmother of 1 grandaughter, 2 grandsons & mother to 3 sons)
she is our resident mom! always there when we need her, always praying for us, she is amazing!
she won't leave with out........*a plan. she is on a mission, where ever she is going.*
fav food- im not sure, but im gonna guess...... a warm homemade soup?
on a grandkid free day you can find her....im going to guess, cleaning or organizing something OR helping someone else.

Beth- (u.s. navy wife, mom of Sequoia (10), Jayden (6), Ryden (4)
she is our newest mom and friend! she just moved here from another italy & another state! SUPER fun & funny! we have known her about 1 month, and already she is a great friend, and another random talker.. we know we have a good fit in our little mom group when she can keep up with our random topic changes!
she won't leave home without....* a cute outfit, this girl can DRESS! *
fav food-so far... anything she doesn't have to make.. haha!

first bus ride with Mr. Marvin! this was a back to back trip for me, Friday we had JUST went to the mountians with Macies class for a day trip to the science camp she will go to next year! FUN!
